Mini Borderlands Loot Chest

Please watch this video for more information: \n\nThis is a loot chest from Borderlands that I created, making it compact because I had limited desk space and only wanted to store SD cards in it. If desired, the design can be easily scaled up without affecting its functionality. However, I wouldn't recommend scaling down significantly.\n\nI printed this model on my Robo 3D using PLA material with a 0.1mm layer height to capture all the intricate details. Some support was added to the lid, mainly for the handle, and minimal support was provided for the body to accommodate the connectors at the back. I also employed a raft to prevent warping, but it's worth noting that this might have been excessive, so I wouldn't recommend using one unnecessarily. The infill density isn't crucial in this case, but I opted for 20% as a personal preference.\n\nRegarding the painting process, my wife applied white spray primer first, followed by water-based acrylic paints and brushes to bring out all the details. Finally, after it dried, she gave it a subtle glossy finish with a spritz of gloss coating.\n\nThanks for checking this out! I hope you like what I've created.
