I utilize these to capture YouTube videos. Print whatever you require and assemble it. Primarily, I employed five-sixteenths-inch threaded rod, nuts, and bolts. A few quarter-inch carriage bolts are used for camera mount threads if necessary. I utilized pennies in the counterweights, but sand, lead shot, washers, BBs, or anything else will suffice. Use supports for the knobs with nut cutouts. Tap the nuts in with a hammer or press them into a vise. The bases fit into one-inch bore dumbbell weights. The weight holes vary greatly. You might need to shim it or use the expanding plug I designed. Five-sixteenths-inch rod can be bought in three-foot lengths for approximately four dollars. Two-inch long five-sixteenths-inch bolts and nuts cost a few cents each. I purchase them by the pound for about three dollars per pound.
