Mini AR 'Silent Nacelle' 2205 motor
thingiverse
This is a remix of the exceptional Opteryx Mini AR 'Silent Nacelle'. It's specifically designed for use with 2205 size motors and features a slightly shorter design than the 1606/1507 version, ensuring that the center of gravity remains in place. Cooling is achieved through internal ports and an aerodynamically optimized exterior shape. To achieve the intended 1.5mm separation between the motor bell and nacelle, install 1mm insulating spacers under the motor base. For perfect insulation, also add 1mm spacers to the screw head side. This isolates an overheating motor from the PLA and can be any hard material, possibly even o-rings. - Print the original Opteryx firewall MiniAR_Fuse_Mount_V1.stl. - Print the MiniAR_nacelle_2205.stl. - Attach the motor with M3 screws and 1mm wide insulating spacers. - Use M2 screws to attach the nacelle to the firewall. Loctite is optional but highly recommended. Happy flights!
