Disclaimer: This is an ongoing design project. I'm not confident in how well it will turn out for you, and I appreciate any feedback you can provide. I'll work diligently to update the models as needed. Once completed, I'll post a step-by-step guide. I aimed to create a compact 3D room scanner with impressive wiring and visually appealing CAD design. This device should be able to map a space within a 5m radius from its sensor and cost under $40 to assemble. Unfortunately, the absence of pre-designed slip rings will restrict this model's potential applications. I highly recommend integrating an auxiliary cable for efficient and affordable cable management. However, this won't be feasible for the camera on the backside. Currently, I ensure the device doesn't spin more than 360 degrees in either direction to avoid any issues.
