Mini 250 octocopter with 6 inch ducts

This is my 250 size ducted octocopter built for the hobbyking beer lift project. Unfortunately, I couldn't find bigger motors to fit in as some of the entrants did and after compressing the video, my scales became invisible. It's printed in bridge nylon with no infill. The booms are made from 16mm carbon tube and the rest is PLA. You can use whatever material you prefer, though. I used 25-35mm bolts throughout and melted m3 threaded brass knurls into some of the PLA pieces. Since I'm disassembling it for parts, maybe someone else will want to take on building one from scratch. **Print Settings:** Rafts: None Supports: None Resolution: .2mm layer height **Important Notes:** The nylon ducts need to be printed with zero infill, four top and bottom layers using a .4mm nozzle and a layer height of .2mm. You can print the PLA sections however you prefer for maximum strength.
