Minelab Explorer Battery Pack

Update 9/30/2018: Working prototype! Still need to edit the original as the model is too long and had to clip some off to get it to fit. Used screws for contacts to the unit and positive contact for batteries. For rear connection, used a battery spring I had lying around. Got a Minelab Explorer II that came without the factory battery pack, and saw they want $100 for one that's basically just rechargeable AA's. Couldn't find an online model for the battery pack, so decided to use OpenSCAD and make my own from measurements of the AA battery pack I have. This is a work in progress! It's set to use 3x18650 batteries (got mine from old laptop batteries). What still needs to be worked out: 1. The clip mechanism that holds the battery pack in place and allows you to pull it out. Will likely redo the clip from [This Model](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3002766). 2. What to use for the 2 contact points for the battery pack and the Minelab. 3. A slot or groove to route the wire from the back of the pack to the front. 4. Whether to leave space for a metal spring, or do some cool 3d printed spring for the battery connection. P.S. This will be customizable eventually for different preferences, but for now it's not turned on.
