Minelab Equinox Wall Mount
thingiverse
I wanted to safely store my Minelab Equinox 800 on the wall so I wouldn't trip over it, but couldn't find a suitable solution that made me happy. So, I decided to design a slightly angled double arm wall mount to securely hold the arm cuff at the bottom. To my surprise, using PLA with 20% infill worked well for this project, and it turned out strong enough for my needs. The print you see is the one with 4mm holes; however, it forced me to use thin screws, so I redesigned it with 5mm and 6mm holes in case you need to use different screws or a drywall anchor setup. Because of the 20% infill, I made sure to use flat-bottomed screws to prevent crushing the plastic. Thankfully, this setup worked without any issues, and there were no signs of cracking sounds. Please note that the photos are slightly distorted, making it appear as if the arms were designed in a V shape; however, they were actually created with equal distance between each point.
