Improved version https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2504647 This miniature Minecraft Torch uses cheap flickering tea lights as LEDs, along with a switch to create a realistic effect. Soldering and a hot glue gun are necessary tools for assembly. The top and bottom plates simply slide into the torch's body, where they stay securely in place. A switch from the tea lights is attached to the bottom plate using hot glue. Four LEDs flicker and add to the torch's authentic look. Although it's not extremely bright, kids adore it. Powered by 2 AA batteries, this torch runs for extended periods of time. The battery holder included in the .stl file can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:941081 However, a better design is desperately needed as the current one merely slides into the torch and feels loose.
