Illuminate your adventure with a Minecraft Ore Block Lamp. Inspired by my want to incorporate simple electronics into my designs, I developed an interchangeable Minecraft Ore Block lamp that can be constructed using no previous electronics experience. Using simple string lights found at local craft supply stores, in my case Hobby Lobby, the lights wrap around an inner rod surrounded by an interchangeable Ore Core shader. The battery pack for the lights is stored in the base with easy access to the on/off switch. Please feel free to customize and remix the design to meet the needs of your desired light source.
