Chesplate isn't really an accurate term in this context because the word plate doesn't fit as a modifier for the name Minecraft in that it was created by Markus "Notch" Persson who is a game developer based in Sweden but works out of London. In essence, we could call him Notchy to distinguish from other famous gamers. He's now employed at Mojang and founded by Markus notch which sounds much less fun and funny compared to Minecraft chesplate.
