Minecraft Chess

I created this set for my friend's kids. The primary objective is to put smiles on their faces. I also aim to get them interested in chess and provide an opportunity to create something new, thereby enhancing the game. A forthcoming update featuring a Pocket-Tactics style dice mechanic to resolve encounters in chess will be included along with the rules. I'm aware that I may have distorted some fundamental principles of chess and Minecraft by designing this set. I apologize to any purists who might take offense, but it was an enjoyable albeit imperfect project. Instructions All the pieces were printed at MakerWare's high quality default setting using ABS and then painted with spray paint. Some glue was applied to assemble the components, but it was relatively straightforward. A note of caution: when assembling the Wither, exercise care not to grab any parts that are stuck together with superglue, as removing a glued finger from the Wither can be quite distressing.
