Mindstorms EV3 rechargeable battery holder
thingiverse
I designed a rechargeable battery holder for Mindstorms EV3 based on this battery door model. I purchased 7.4V LiPo batteries that are specifically made for Syma RC Quadcopters. The high power wires need to be trimmed back and insulated. Instead, use the charger's connector for charging and loading purposes. Some studies indicate that 7.4V is sufficient for the brick, and it may even work down to 5V. The supports in this model are also removable before use. For terminals, glued copper sheets can be used. A TinkerCAD model of this design is shared here as well.
