Holder inserts for the Milwaukee Shockwave case for 1/4" hex shank 1" long bits. Bits are held in magnetically.

The Milwaukee Shockwave case (large version) has a modular design that allows you to use different types of holder inserts. These inserts have magnets on the bottom to hold the bits in place. Rows of bits have to alternate to allow the 1" bits to fit. The inserts are designed to hold the bits upright without rotating.

<oembed url="https://youtu.be/MibBVRHlJAc"></oembed>

Print instructions

Printed Materials:
bit holder large.stl
bit holder screw extractor.stl
bit holder top right.stl
spacer.stl

Non-Printed Materials:
1 - Milwaukee Shockwave case (I bought this mainly for the case https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00UB3AE3O/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
1/2" wide 1/8" thick Adhesive Foam Tape (used as padding https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H5B9RZY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
140 - 6 x 2mm magnet (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07KJ9H31P/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)
3 - 10 x 3mm magnet (Part of https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07MV2MKD5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Instructions:

No supports needed.

Insert 10 6 x 2mm magnets into the bottom of the insert. Alternate north and south being up so the magnets don't 'fight' each other.

Cut foam tape to the size of spacer. Put foam tape on top the spacer.

Insert 3 10 x 3mm magnets into the top right bit holder. These will magnetically hold a driver adapter.

Install the inserts into the case in an alternating pattern so the bits don't hit each other when the case closes.
