Milwaukee M18 Tool clip

I designed this for my tools to hang in a work vehicle, hence the clip mechanism. Like this? Then check out my M12 Tool Mount (Battery remix); https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3161145 Check out my M12 Heavy Tool Clip I designed; https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3168627 I used standard clips for a spring, e.g., <0.8x9x35 mm. Experimental: Or use a 1x9x30 mm compression spring (use 3 mm clips). If you use the 3 mm clip with a weak spring, it will stick and not move easily. The short side of the triangle on the clip faces away from the "forked" side of the tool body, making it easy to slide on but harder to slide off. I recommend printing the mirror image of the clip due to design clearances, but if you can't be bothered, it probably will work fine if you just print two of the same. Also, the side with the slightly smaller spring gap is the top side. Tested its grip on tools by hanging a drill on my wall the wrong way (weak clip mechanism should just fall out). If you have tool belt clips for all your tools like I do, then a spacer will be required. I'll be cutting blocks of plywood or timber because I feel it's just a waste of plastic and printing time. I need to print like 20 of these things. When installing this clip, I highly recommend putting screws through both holes to avoid the clip breaking. If a stronger clip is required for your use, just use a stiffer spring and beef up the clips with more perimeters for strength. It will be interesting to see how they weather living in a hot car. PET would probably be better, but for me, PLA is the cheapest by 50%. I've done some prototyping, but now only time and usage will tell. This Thing is finished, but if I or someone else has any problems with the design, then I'll see about fixing it. Lastly, it's worth noting that most genuine tools and batteries slightly vary in size. I tested this in multiple tools with the same clip, and some fit tighter and others slightly looser. Please, any feedback is welcome. Update 17/10/2018: Changed spring size to 1x9x30 mm by cutting down the spring. This fixed the spring breaking the clip due to being too strong. I've ordered 0.9x9x30 and 0.8x9x30 mm compression springs for further research into which spring is best suited. At the moment, the 1x9x30 mm compression spring is working well with repeated use but is just still a bit strong and difficult to remove the tool but does not break the clips. Update 08/10/2018: Added 3 mm clip for use with a 1x9x35 mm compression spring. I call this the Klingon Tool Clip update! (11/10/18 This springs seems too strong. Need to change something, will update.) Update 26/09/2018: Re-added files as there seemed to be an extra layer glitch. New file fixed it. Update 26/09/2018: Re-added files with correct orientation and added a file with clip and mirrored clip together. https://youtu.be/rGIMzFOniks https://youtu.be/zihTkhaCqkE
