Milwaukee M18 Battery Wake Up Fixture (Use At Your Own Risk)
thingiverse
Use at your own risk! Messing with Li-ion battery can be extremely hazardous! Occasionally, my M18 battery falls below minimum charge to have the charger function. Found on the internet, you can "wake" up the battery by jumping a 9V battery across the terminals for nine seconds, which gives the battery just enough juice to activate the charging circuit. Wired in two spade connectors (used a vise to squash the contact flat, filed down the ears), and put in a momentary On push button on the positive line, and shrink tubed the terminals on the switch. I drilled out the right size hole for my switch and drilled a little access hole in the side. I'm sure someone can program in those holes if needed. Filled in all the cavities with hot glue and voila! The STL is the original file from the original designer. My remix is wiring the unit up for the functionality I needed.
