Milwaukee M12 Battery Case
cults3d
This is a replacement case for Milwaukee M12 batteries that use three-cell type. It employs an authentic battery cap. The genuine battery case features very thin walls where two sections of the case connect. Mine cracked in several areas. Printing/Assembly Tips First, disassemble an original battery to extract cells and the battery cap (the black component). I used two screwdrivers and a bit of force for this process. Next, print the two components of the new case. I printed the main case body upside down to minimize the amount of required support material. After printing, clean hooks in the lower part of the main case using an X-Acto knife. Insert an empty main case body into the cap to verify a precise fit. If not, remove it and use an X-Acto knife to adjust the hooks. You can easily detach the printed case by inserting three small 2x4x25mm rectangular pins into holes in the cap. At this point, you can test how your new battery fits with your power tool. When you feel confident about the fit, remove the main case body from the cap, push cells extracted from the original battery through the case body, seal it with a printed base, and then push everything inside the authentic cap.
