I created a custom spring for my cordless copper cutter after one of them snapped. Designed in Fusion 360, the replacement is slightly wider than the steel original to ensure durability and still fits seamlessly into place without any obstructions. After printing, I simply trimmed the hole for the camshaft and pin to fit snugly through them. Although, unfortunately, the plastic's flexibility doesn't provide enough pressure on the copper pipe to make a clean cut. As a novice 3D designer, I'm thrilled that my model still fits perfectly inside the power tool, despite this minor setback.
