Paintball enthusiasts, woodsball fanatics, listen up! This project is still in the works. The adapter is designed to attach seamlessly onto the rear of the Milsig M17 CQC paintball marker and enables a remote line adapter to slide smoothly through it while allowing the rear buttstock to be used with ease. The clever interlock mechanism ensures an optimal length for perfect functionality on a fully extended stock. I've tested this setup on the field, and the results are outstanding! However, I need some dedicated time to assemble the complete piece and finalize its design. \nUpdate 27Dec: Happy Holidays to all my fellow paintball enthusiasts out there! Here's an exciting update on the adapter. I've combined a few key components to create this sturdy foundation. Smoothing out some edges has not only improved fitment but also strengthened critical areas of the adapter. The infill is printed at a high level for added durability, and the cutouts have been reinforced to withstand the rigors of woodsball action. My initial prototype did break on the field after withstanding intense pressure, so I've taken that as a valuable lesson learned.\nPrints well, fits perfectly, and despite some minor wobble at 0.25/75% infill, it's surprisingly sturdy – significantly more robust than my original design. I'll be creating a printable extension soon, so stay tuned!\nUpdate 01Jan: Check out these photos of the adapter in action, seamlessly integrated into my M17! There is some wiggle room, but that's easily resolved by applying heat to the tips and molding them together for a snugger fit. The slide end works flawlessly, and you can adjust the extension file as needed – it performs admirably at both minimal and full buttstock extension. I've used a heat gun to fine-tune the puzzle connections between the base and extension for an even better fit. You're free to glue them together if desired, or leave them as is.
