Millstone Burn 4c (Oct 2006)
sketchfab
Prehistoric carved outcrop emerges near Millstone Burn on Longframlington Common, Northumberland. This area of exposed rock is identified as 'Millstone Burn 4c' in the Beckensall Archive (BA) and was documented by NADRAP in 2006. The team's description on ERA reveals: "This panel is part of the same domed outcrop as Millstone Burn 4a and 4b, separated only by a covering of turf. Cup marks are scattered." Closer inspection suggests a faint ring surrounding one of these cups. ERA & BA record can be accessed at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=520. This model is constructed from 5 stereo pairs captured by Dave Tuck and David Jones (NADRAP) in October 2006. The imagery forms part of the complete NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England and Northumberland County Council.
