Prehistoric carvings can be found on a rocky outcrop near Millstone Burn, which is situated on Longframlington Common in Northumberland. This specific section of rock carving has been documented by the Beckensall Archive (BA) under the reference number 'Millstone Burn 3c (iii)', and is described as follows: A cup-shaped design connects to a penannular ring that ends in another cup, with two curved lines extending outward from the ring. In 2008, NADRAP recorded this stone carving, adding it to ERA's database later that year. Further information about this discovery can be found on ERA & BA's website at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=528 A detailed 3D model of the rock outcrop was created using five pairs of stereoscopic images taken by Dave Tuck and David Jones (NADRAP) in April 2006. These photographs are part of the comprehensive NADRAP archive, which has been preserved at Historic England and Northumberland County Council.
