sketchfab
Prehistoric carved outcrop near Millstone Burn on Longframlington Common, Northumberland. This section of outcrop is documented as 'Millstone Burn 3b (West)' in the Beckensall Archive and was added to ERA by NADRAP in 2008. The team describes a minimum of nineteen cups of varying size. Two large cups, about 14cm in diameter, are located on the W part. Rings surrounding cups on the NE side were recorded by Beckensall but not observed. Faint rings drawn by Stan Beckensall in the 1970s can be seen on this model. The ERA and BA record is available online at https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=524. This 3D model was created from six stereo pairs captured by Dave Tuck and David Jones of NADRAP in March 2006. The imagery forms part of the full NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England and Northumberland County Council.
