Prehistoric carved outcrop near Millstone Burn on Longframlington Common, Northumberland. This quarried section of outcrop is identified as 'Millstone Burn 2dd' in the Beckensall Archive (BA) and was recorded by NADRAP in ERA in 2008. The BA confirms at least three cups exist there. NADRAP notes that it probably matches van Hoek's (1991) No.37, which features curved grooves. The depressions are likely either natural erosion or marks caused by quarrying. The groove is extremely faint. Four very small depressions and very faint curved grooves are seen on the edge of the rock. ERA & BA record: https://archaeologydataservice.ac.uk/era/section/panel/overview.jsf?eraId=539 This model was created from five stereo pairs taken by Dave Tuck and David Jones (NADRAP) in October 2006. The imagery forms part of the complete NADRAP archive deposited with Historic England & Northumberland County Council.
