The Buzenol milestone marks a major achievement, standing tall in the fortification of Lower Empire's Luxembourg province since its discovery near Montauban. Located at Musée d'Art et d'Histoire (Musée du Cinquantenaire, Brussels), this ancient marker was captured with RealityCapture technology. Originally situated on the Reims-Trier road, it signifies the distance from Trier, a staggering 54 miles. Emperor Claudius commissioned its construction in 44 AD during his reign. The stone bears an inscription that reads: Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, grand pontiff, empowered with the fourth tribunician power, celebrated general victorious for the eighth time, consul appointed for the fourth time, father of the nation. From Trier, a distance of 54 thousand steps. Stay updated on more discoveries by following me on Twitter at @GeoffreyMarchal.
