MILLER METEOR - ECTO-1 1959 GHOSTBUSTERS SLOT CAR CHASSIS 3D model

The Miller Meteor slot car needs a sturdy foundation, so I'm designing a 3D printable chassis at 1:32 scale to sit underneath it. This chassis is optimized for standard motors that run inline. The guide post on this design accommodates Slotting Plus guides, making adjustments a breeze. To print the body, use a length of 199.2mm and keep the width and height unchanged. You can print the chassis at a layer height of 0.28mm, which should take about two hours on an Ender3 Pro. To prevent warping, I recommend adding build surface supports to the rear of the chassis, as it's slightly elevated compared to the front. The included design features a sturdy brace for the motor and rear axle, which screw in place with M2.4mm screws. The untapped holes are 2mm in diameter, and you'll also find grub screw holes on the front axle. For body fitment, simply apply standard methods – posts or braces as needed to secure the chassis. You can print at a layer height of 0.2, but 0.12 is naturally better for more detailed prints. To ensure a smooth finish, I recommend adding supports for the tail and running boards, along with a raft to keep the flag post from lifting during printing.
