A 1970's aviation gem, the Miller JM-2, also known as Texas Gem, is replicated here in C4D with a modern touch. It features an aggressive intake and a sleeker cockpit panel. This model recreates the Reno Racing era when low horsepower sport aircraft could reach mind-blowing speeds of 235 mph, all thanks to a Continental O200B motor's 100 hp. Despite its small size, this unique design is a sight to behold, though you won't see it flying today - only in museums. The model, built with precision, adheres strictly to Jim Miller's specifications and boasts an intricate flight control setup. The dual rudder and elevator sit on the fan shroud of this quasi-delta wing aircraft, designed for speed. All components have proper axis locations, and textures range from 4K to better quality. The C4D native model utilizes decals with materials for that stunning gold finish. You can also import the original texture tags or use a fully textured model in a complex scene. It's subdivision-ready, built mostly in quads, and includes a low-resolution model in C4D (available in other formats upon request). Note that the rigged file works with C4D R17 or higher and doesn't support other programs' rigging. However, all control surface deflections move in coordination with the flight stick, along with a functional prop rotation for physical renderers using motion blur. This model is native to Cinema 4D only and is preset at a subdivision render factor of 1 for other programs. Polygon counts are provided for both low and high-res models (available upon request).
