Millennium Falcon ramp support 1979
thingiverse
This is a ramp support from the 1979 Millennium Falcon by Kenner. I printed two of them, as they are identical. One was printed upright with supports and slowed down, resulting in a great print. The peg that fits into the ramp has a slightly loose fit on one side, but I suspect this may be due to wear on the ramp itself; the other is snugly fitted. Print settings greatly depend on your printer and positioning. Typically, I print items like this at 20-40% infill with supports and rafts on my QIDI dual extruder (Makerbot 2x clone). **UPDATE: A new file has been added, featuring a fatter peg called "MFalcolnRampStrut2PLA". Originally designed for ABS printing on an older printer, the pegs have been made slightly thicker to accommodate the increased accuracy of newer printers and the reduced swelling of PLA compared to ABS. Print Settings: Printer: QIDI Tech dual extruder Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Notes: Print settings vary significantly depending on your printer and positioning. I usually print items like this at 20-40% infill with supports and rafts.
