**Update v1.1 now live, featuring the cut up version. This fan art piece pays homage to Star Wars without claiming ownership of its rights; it's a labor of love created long before 3D printing became a reality. Yes, some parts were salvaged from other ships and meshes, resulting in an imperfect but still impressive model. With May the 4th approaching, I decided to upload this creation, flaws and all. The underside isn't overly detailed, making it easier to remove support material if printed upside down. In its original form, the mesh was significantly more intricate, with piping that had to be removed due to thickness issues. After a successful test print at 0% infill and 0.2mm resolution (approximately 60ms feed rate), I'm now fine-tuning the mesh for better printability. A cut up version will follow soon, but first, I wanted to see how the full-scale model would turn out. To achieve a scale similar to old-style AMT plastic kits, I'll be experimenting with different printing orientations - currently, it's being printed on its side with the cockpit at the highest point. A flat print is next on my agenda, and if the cut up version lives up to expectations, it might just be worth the wait, considering this challenging print requires patience and precision.**
