Replica of the Fine Molds Millennium Falcon stand, scaled to fit the AMT/ERTL model kit perfectly. I was searching for a display stand for my cut-away Falcon model since it was a rescue mission that came missing its landing gear. After several attempts, I discovered the Fine Molds instructions and based this design on them. This was the first stand I created and one of the initial projects I produced in my first month of 3D printing. Therefore, there is room for improvement in both print quality and build. All files were created using Blender software. If you want to make it, you will need to print two connector pieces to join them together. Thanks to tight tolerances, everything stays together without the use of glue. I also cut rubber hose pieces to help grip the underside of the Falcon. It has been stable and on the shelf for two months now. While not a perfect print job, it is functional and features a nice design. In practical use, it's not visually prominent since it's fairly well concealed. Hopefully, this will assist a few others with their kits!
