Millenium Puzzle
thingiverse
Our brainchild was crafted in tribute to the Yu-gi-oh millennium puzzle, with a triangular motif as the guiding principle. We utilized a lock pin as the ultimate challenge, requiring assembly participants to securely fasten it into place, thereby creating an unbreakable seal. The second obstacle we presented was orienting the pieces correctly, as there existed a precise method for doing so. Designing our puzzle posed a considerable hurdle: striking a balance between clarity and complexity. We overcame this by clearly indicating where each piece belonged. To facilitate the assembly process, we designed our pieces to be easily maneuverable. Initially, when we printed our prototype, the tolerance was insufficient, causing the pieces to prove difficult to assemble. This shortcoming was rectified by adjusting the tolerance, recalibrating, and redesigning the pieces to be even more user-friendly.
