Milky Way Lithophane
thingiverse
I crafted a stunning Lithophane from a breathtaking photo I snapped in New Hampshire, USA. I envisioned and created three distinct versions; a flat one, a flat one with a sturdy base, and an outward curved masterpiece. To heighten the contrast, I used a black sharpie to expertly darken the trees. For optimal viewing, I recommend printing these standing up rather than sitting down. To achieve the best results, follow these settings: Print in White PLA or ABS Use 100% infill for maximum density and clarity Set the thickness to 4-6mm for a robust and eye-catching design Optimize the shell thickness by dividing the object's thickness by two Choose a layer thickness of .06 or lower for exceptional detail and precision
