Milk Frother / Milchaufschäumer

This is quite a powerful milk frother that I created because my previous model powered by two AA batteries just wasn't strong enough and needed fresh batteries all the time. This new design features a 12V DC motor with a bigger diameter sourced from an old cassette player and a 12V wall adapter salvaged from an old Wi-Fi router, which eliminates dead batteries forever! Print Settings Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: About 25% Notes: Printed in PLA How I Designed This Thing I designed this milk frother around components that I already had at home, but they can all be found on eBay for purchase. The three main parts needed to assemble the printed pieces are as follows: http://www.ebay.com/itm/2mm-Shaft-31mm-Body-Dia-6500RPM-Electric-Motor-DC-12V-0-02A-/291560481520?hash=item43e25be2f0:g:ASUAAOSwiLdV9FdT http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-pole-Dashboard-switch-12v-20mm-21mm-/181803440498?hash=item2a54545972:g:pQMAAOSw7NNT2mqO http://www.ebay.com/itm/10pcs-DC-015-5-5-2-1mm-3Pin-Power-Supply-Jack-Socket-Plug-/252106393329?hash=item3ab2b646f1:g:DugAAOSwFnFWCPZn Other necessary parts include three M3x40 screws and one M3x16 with an M3 hex nut for the motor clamp. You may need to tap the holes in the motor enclosure so that you can screw them in better. I re-purposed the frothing device from my previous cheap milk frother. Its motor shaft diameter is 2mm, which is a standard size. The small deck plate needs to be superglued next to the DC power plug to cover the gap. It's not perfect, but it works just fine.
