Milk Crate Stacking Spacer
thingiverse
I just finished brewing a fresh batch of beer and the 32oz bottles I capped it in are only slightly too tall to fit snugly into a milk crate and stack together. I crafted this design with precision using a caliper and was thrilled that it worked flawlessly on the first try! I printed eight prototypes and placed them strategically near the corners, elevating the milk crates perfectly and effortlessly supporting the weight of the next crate, which held nine bottles without any issues. This model should be relatively simple to modify to fit your specific milk crates. The space at the middle bottom should be roughly equal to the knob at the top, and I recommend printing them flat on their side for added strength. Fortunately, no support is needed during the printing process! I'm excited that this design should also work seamlessly with my taller 24oz bottles, which I plan to use for bottling the next batch of beer!
