The IFA W50 is a medium-duty truck built by the East German conglomerate IFA at their Ludwigsfelde plant from 1965 until 1990. Approximately 572,000 were produced in Ludwigsfelde, with an unknown number of special-use vehicles assembled elsewhere. Built to be replaced by the IFA L60, the W50 actually outlived it by several months. IFA ceased all truck production on December 17, 1990, following Germany's reunification.
