Mild Taser (shock toy)
thingiverse
This is a voltage converter taken out of an alarm clock that has been modified to boost the voltage of two 1.5v AAA batteries to a level that can be felt physically. The voltage converter normally steps down 120V to 9v. Electrical engineers who can figure out what voltage would result if the current were run through it in reverse are encouraged to give it a try, as I have no idea what the output is on this device. It's also possible to connect a 9 volt battery, but the shock is somewhat painful. This project is still a work in progress and the holes for the switch or nails in the box itself have not been designed yet. However, the switch was purchased from Radio Shack and the battery holder was cut out of the alarm clock after it had been printed. Here's a video showing the device in action: https://youtu.be/zbbjyepezFo It's also possible to shock a circle of people if they all hold hands. This can be somewhat entertaining, but caution should be exercised when using this device on anyone who may be at risk from electrical shock, such as very young individuals or those with heart conditions, pacemakers, etc.
