Mikrotik RB4011 Media Converter/WAP/mUPS Mount
thingiverse
I designed this bracket to house the Mikrotik FTC11 behind my RB4011. I needed an additional SFP port for the 4011, but wanted a compact package that would still fit in one rack unit. Since Mikrotik uses the same form factor for devices like the wAP (AC) or mUPS, this is a great way to add wireless or battery backup to my 4011 as well. A 1 foot patch cable works fine to connect the FTC11 to the POE out port on Eth 10, but it's a bit tight where it plugs into the 4011. The fiber slack storage was designed for a standard 1m duplex patch cable, but I've managed to store a 2m patch cable in there as well. A hole was designed for a duplex lc-lc coupler. I use adapters from fs.com like https://www.fs.com/products/48497.html. The spring tabs on the fiber adapter hold it decently, but you can also add a couple small screws to secure it more firmly. It will hold with just the keyhole pegs, but for extra security, a zip tie around the semi-circle support and the cooling fins increases stability and keeps it from sliding off the keyhole pegs.
