This is my take on the Mikro-Horn 2011!!!!9 years have passed and the 3D printing have come far since the first design was released. I wanted to build some speakers for my daughter for her 1 year birthday.I found these nice speakers and wanted to make my own version.The sides, top, bottom and back is made from 19mm MDF and the rest is printed. How you want to print everything is entirely up to you, but MORE IS MORE meaning that you will get a better sound the more filament you use. You can print the parts with low top and bottom fill, as you will glue them in between the parts. It is important what, how and where you put the damping in the box as well as what speaker you use.The way I have made mine give bit of boost around 2000Hz and 4000Hz so you get a nice crips trumpet and altsax :-DOn the downside they have not mych to give under 100-150Hz A small 6" "sub" is not a good match as it will not have the SPL to play with these speakers as they have pretty good sensitivity. They play pretty lound without distorsion. Personally I use a Dali 12" and it extends the low end enough for my use.  I recommend to use a good amplifier as these are worth it, that said I have testet some cheaper aliexpress 2.1 amps with 25w each channel and they work fine There will be a manual on how to assemble everything including what sizes wood board you need.
