Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-27M Flogger J

The Mikoyan Gurevich MiG-27M Flogger J was a major upgrade to the initial attack variants of the MiG-23 fighter, which were the MiG-23B and the MiG-23BN. The modifications introduced with the MiG-23BM led to the creation of a brand new aircraft that was designated as the MiG-27. The most advanced Soviet variant produced in approximately 200 airframes was the MiG-27K, but the model released represents the most produced variant, which is the MiG-27M. This model comes in three versions with variable swept wings in different positions. Compared to the previous variants, the MiG-27M was cheaper and more advanced than the MiG-23B, BN, and BM models. In fact, 305 of the MB models were upgraded to the M standard and renamed the MiG-27D, making them difficult to distinguish from the real M model after the upgrade. Another variant that is externally similar to the MiG-27M was the MiG-27L, which was made for export and assembled in India. After an upgrade of its avionics, it was redesignated as the MiG-27H. The air forces that operated this aircraft include the USSR, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, India, and Sri Lanka. A 1:100 scale model of the MiG-27M was printed using a Ender3, with a nozzle size of 0.4mm and layer thickness of 0.12mm. The print was done in two parts to maintain the tail and nose details. A bit of sandpaper was used to smooth out the glued junction, making it almost invisible after painting. The model was printed using PrusaSlicer 2.0, as shown in the image.
