MikoBot MKI

MikoBot MKI

thingiverse

This is mikobot, my small work in progress development platform. I was inspired by timmiclark and his ProtoTank https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:972768 I assembled mikobot using M4 screws and nuts. There are two decks - one for Raspberry Pi only and the other for Arduino Mega. Currently, I control mikobot with a Carson RC Controller that has five channels. It can switch to autonomous mode using an IR sensor ziptied to the front. (Yes, I was lazy.) The wheels and rear ball were taken from an original Arduino Robot (the round expensive thing). Future plans include putting it on tracks or steppers, adding more sensors or switches, possibly using Raspberry Pi if I can find a motor hat, and adding a camera. If you like this project and want to create a remix or add some features, I'll be happy to share files if needed.
