A redesigned diaphragm-operated micro-switch with vacuum/pressure sensitivity settings and options for normal open or closed operation is presented. The diaphragm, made of conductive "Metal Rubber," interfaces with a quick connect for easy contact. By reducing the part count to six unique components (eight physical), including heat-staking instead of rivets, this design eliminates unnecessary materials and assembly steps. However, weight details are unavailable due to material density variations. Some features exceed the 7mm limit; internal adjustments may require increasing the 14x14mm main body size. Placeholders for screws and air nozzle should be replaced with company-standard components. To enhance usability, a snap mount cradle could hold all components securely. Further adjustments to diaphragm thickness are needed based on "Metal Rubber" elastic properties.
