This updated design keeps the strong, satisfying jaw geometry of the Coin-Op Bottle Opener but in a smaller package that won't burden your pocket. It also takes much less time to print compared to the original version. However, you need to use a paper clip to keep the plastic from getting chewed up, which can be seen as a crafty advantage. The handle has been reduced, so adjusting your hand position might be necessary. Remember to place your thumb on top and index finger underneath for optimal usage. This design is still a work in progress, so feel free to share any feedback. The original part had a modified bottle cap protector, but it was later discovered that it didn't work well, leading to an embarrassing update. A furious design session then yielded an improved paper clip design. The part has also been made slightly wider to help with the fill around the hole and a recess for the paperclip has been added on the back side. Instructions for inserting the paper clip are provided in the description.
