This is a compact mount for Migbot Prusa i3's extruder assembly. You'll have a 40mm 'cold zone' fan easily mounted with all four screws on the heatsink, not sandwiched together by only two screws as is common in other designs. This setup makes it significantly easier to disassemble the extruder into two distinct parts: motor assembly and heatsink assembly - without any screws or washers getting misplaced. The mount also helps prevent overtightening the screws, which could damage the fan's shell. It appears that Migbot Prusa i3 printers require frequent reassembly of the extruder after filament changes. This is due to stuck filaments within the hotend's motor when it's turned off, making it extremely difficult to push through with new filament. The print kit being discussed can be found on eBay.
