Migbot level sensor fine adjust
thingiverse
The square sensor used on the Migbot for auto leveling desperately needs a fine adjust mechanism. Several creative solutions to this issue have been shared in the Thingiverse, and I'm building upon those innovative designs. This is my version. To complete this project, some additional hardware is required: M3x20 screws and nuts already used to secure the sensor Two M3x8 screws with nuts to attach the body to the sensor strut A single M3x30 screw and nut for the adjustment mechanism A pair of M3x20 screws and nuts for the locking system Two springs from a pen, approximately 4mm x 26mm in size Optional: flat washers on the adjustment screw and sensor mounting screws When assembling this design, ensure that when the slider is level with the bottom of the body, the mounting holes are properly aligned. Note your current sensor's mounting position and replicate it for a seamless installation. First, align the bottom edges of the two parts to achieve nearly identical height settings as before.
