3D printed RC MiG I-270 rocket fighter for slope soaring. Printed from LW-PLA on Prusa Mk3 and Ender 3 V2 Wingspan: 900 mm (roughly 1/10th scale) All-up weight: 560 g Print time: approx. 40 hrs Material: approx. 350 g LW-PLA Battery: Rx battery The MiG I-270 was a Soviet rocket-power point-defense interceptor from late WWII. Two prototypes were flown, but the project was cancelled due to the advancement of jet engine and surface-to-air missile technology. Wings and fuselage are printed as a single continuous perimeter, Horizontal tail surface is foam board. Canopy hatch held on with 4 mm magnets.
