MiG-31 Foxhound is a Russian Air Force interceptor with incredible speed, reaching 3000 km/h and soaring to altitudes of 25 km. The Foxhound has evolved from the Foxbat and excels at intercepting targets at any altitude - from just a few meters above the ground to high-flying threats. It can engage multiple targets simultaneously and fire missiles from great distances. The MiG-31 is equipped with R-33 and R-40 missiles, allowing pilots to choose their desired load configuration. The R-33 comes in two versions, one of which features a unique design that makes it easy to glue to the belly of the aircraft. This model is scaled at 1:100 and printed on an Ender3 using a 0.4mm nozzle and 0.12mm layers. I opted for a two-part split version to achieve greater detail in the intakes and exhaust, making the glued junction nearly invisible once painted.
