MiG-31 Foxhound - Russian Air Force Interceptor The MiG-31 Foxhound is a high-speed interceptor capable of reaching speeds of up to 3000 km/h and operating at altitudes as low as 25 kilometers. As an evolution of the Foxbat, this aircraft can engage targets flying at any altitude, from just above the ground to high-flying threats. Equipped with R-33 and R-40 missiles, pilots can choose their preferred load configuration, selecting between two versions of the R-33 missile, one designed for easy attachment to the belly of the aircraft. This scale model is printed in 1:100 detail at a layer thickness of 0.12mm using a 0.4mm nozzle on an Ender3 printer. The two-part split design allows for increased detail at the intakes and exhaust, resulting in a nearly invisible glued junction after painting. The printing process was managed by PrusaSlicer 2.0 software, producing a high-quality image of the MiG-31 Foxhound.
