cgtrader
This low poly MIG-27 3D model is nearly to scale regarding dimensions. It features retractable landing gear, forward-swept wings, and animateable flaps, slats, stabilizers, and rudder. The model comes with materials, textures, and in various formats. The MiG-27 was derived from the MIG-23 Flogger as a variable-geometry air-to-ground attack aircraft. Originally built by the Soviet Union's Mikoyan design bureau, it was later licensed for production in India by Hindustan Aeronautics as the Bahadur. Capable of automatic night or bad weather blind bombing with high accuracy, the MiG-27 saw combat in Afghanistan. However, unlike the MiG-23, it did not see widespread use outside Russia, with most countries opting for the MiG-23BN and Sukhoi Su-22 instead. Currently, the MiG-27 remains in service with the Indian, Kazakh, and Sri Lankan Air Forces for ground attack roles, while most Russian and Ukrainian units have been retired.
