The MIG-23 Flogger B model is a comprehensive upgrade from our 2005 version of the MIG-23, painstakingly rebuilt using recent resources. It's nearly scale-accurate and intricately detailed, featuring an accurate exterior, engine exhaust, and cockpit. The model boasts numerous animatable features like variable sweep wings, flaps, flaperons, stabilizers, rudder, wheels, landing gear, landing gear doors, missiles, rockets, opening canopy, throttle, stick, toggle switches, and more. It's available in multiple formats and is highly textured with realistic flight instruments and engine exhaust components. This model was codenamed Flogger-B by NATO for the MIG-23M and MF versions. The MiG-23 Flogger made its debut in the '60s as a successor to the MiG-21, offering enhanced payload, range, firepower, and beyond visual range intercept capabilities. It was the first VVS fighter with look-down/shoot-down capabilities and featured modified wings with leading-edge slats. From the late '70s to the late '80s, it served as the Soviet Air Force's top aggressor aircraft, but was eventually phased out of front-line service by 1999. It now equips reserve and training units only; however, MiG-23 fighters are still widely used among export customers.
