The MIG-23 Flogger B model is a new, upgraded version of our previous 2005 MIG-23 model. Built nearly to scale and featuring intricate detailing, it boasts a highly realistic exterior, engine exhaust sections, and a meticulously designed cockpit. The model includes numerous animatable features such as variable sweep wings, flaps, flaperons, stabilizers, rudder, wheels, landing gear, landing gear doors, missiles, rockets, opening canopy, throttle, stick, toggle switches, and more. With high-quality textures, materials, and maps, this model is available in a wide range of formats. Originally developed in the 1960s as a successor to the MiG-21, the 'swing-wing' MiG-23 Flogger featured advanced capabilities such as greater payload, range, firepower, and beyond visual range intercept capability from onboard sensors. It was the first VVS fighter to feature look-down/shoot-down capabilities and served as the Soviet Air Force's top aggressor aircraft between the late 1970s and late 1980s. Despite being phased out of front-line service in 1999, MiG-23 fighters continue to serve reserve and training units and remain in use with export customers.
