The MIG-23 Flogger B model is a comprehensive replacement for our prior 2005 MIG-23 version, meticulously reconstructed from scratch using an extensive array of recently acquired resources. The model exhibits exceptional accuracy in dimensions and details, including a highly-detailed exterior, engine exhaust section, and cockpit. It boasts numerous animated features, such as variable sweep wings, flaps, flaperons, stabilizers, rudder, wheels, landing gear, and landing gear doors. Furthermore, it includes missiles, rockets, an opening canopy, throttle, stick, toggle switches, and more. The model is available in multiple formats, with high-quality textures and materials. Originally codenamed Flogger-B by NATO, the MiG-23 Flogger emerged in the 1960s as a successor to the MiG-21, boasting enhanced payload, range, firepower, and beyond visual range intercept capabilities from advanced onboard sensors. This was the first mass-produced MiG-23 variant and the first VVS fighter with look-down/shoot-down capacities, featuring leading-edge slats in its modified wing design. From the late 1970s to the late 1980s, the MiG-23 served as the Soviet Air Force's top aggressor aircraft. By 1999, it had been phased out of front-line service and now primarily equips reserve and training units. However, MiG-23 fighters continue to be in widespread use among export customers.
