It boasts numerous animatable features such as variable sweep wings, flaps, flaperons, stabilizers, rudder, wheels, landing gear, missiles, rockets, opening canopy, throttle, stick, toggle switches, and more. Available in a variety of formats, this model is the NATO-codenamed Flogger-B version of the MIG-23M and MF models. The MiG-23 Flogger was introduced in the 1960s as an upgrade to the MiG-21, offering increased payload, range, firepower, and beyond visual range intercept capabilities through advanced onboard sensors. As the first VVS fighter with look-down/shoot-down capabilities, it featured a modified wing with leading-edge slats. The MiG-23 served as the Soviet Air Force's primary aggressor aircraft from the late 1970s to the late 1980s but has since been phased out of front-line service and now equips reserve and training units only. Despite this, MiG-23 fighters continue to serve in numerous export countries.
